*Jeff and I moved in the houseboat
*We went to numerous weddings
*I've been volunteering at PAWS once a week
*We saw Jose Gonzalez live
*We spent a glorious weekend away in Portland (took the train down and everything) and spent too much money at Powell's Books
*Jeff went on a tuna fishing expedition out in the ocean on the same weekend that I went on a cruise ship with a bunch of other girls for a friend's bachelorette party
*I got to celebrate the 1-year birthday of my nephew, Holden, and the birth of my other nephew, Ambrose.
*We went to the Puyallup fair with the Stremicks...what a blast!
*I've watched every Seahawks game including the one that I attended on on 10/14 where we got the SHIT kicked out of us by a 0-5 New Orelean's Saints team.
*Me and "my girls" took a trip to Vegas in June for our friend Mary's bachelorette party, it was really fun...from what I remember ;-)
* My sister, Jennifer, got engaged!!!
* I went to Chicago for my annual conference.
* I participated in the MS walk to support my friend Megan, who was diagnosed this year. Thanks to those of you who donated -- that was very generous and our team met our goal of $3000.
* I went to a Yacht Rock party with my friend Jaimie. "Yacht Rock" is the term given to really cheesy and bad 70s and 80s music (Christopher Cross, Air Supply, etc.). The concert was put on by the folks trying to clean up the Puget Sound. Local bands covered the oldies-but-not-so-goodies and everyone dressed up in yacht or sailing attire. It was SOOOO incredibly fun and we hope to do it again next year.
* My friend Megan got engaged!
*My precious Himalayan had to have almost all of his teeth extracted in June (he got to keep two fangs and the itty, bitty baby teeth in fron), which was a sad thing to have to watch him recover from, but he is so much happier now.

*I adopted out both of my horses and my goat. So, I'm just down to my three cats AND my new beta fish that we got today. We named him Pinky (because he's pinkish purple -- back in my day the betas only came in red and blue) and he's really sweet. My SLR is in storage, so all I've got to show you is a crappy digital pic so you
can't see his sweet little face. He seems to be really friendly as he always swims from where he is over to the human. We're going to get him a little tetra buddy and name him "The Brain".
* Jeff and I moved to an apartment in Ballard (Seattle) last week. We love it so far. It's a one bedroom with a nice big living room that's open to the kitchen. We have a nice deck and a gym and a garage for parking the cars and and elevator. It's great and it's a pet-friendly unit so there's always doggies in the halls and stuff.
* Prior to my last posting, I went to Reno to attend my sister's graduation from the Reno Police Academy and Jeff and I took a trip to Hawaii. If you haven't already seen them, you can check out our travelblog at: http://www.travelblog.org/Bloggers/Small-U/
*Thanks to Jeff's dad, I'm now hooked on my favorite website of all, Goodreads.com. You can log and rate all of the books you own, are reading, want to read and check up on the books your friends have read, are reading, and what they think about the books. It's amazing and I love it. I've got my little sisters, Jennifer and Andrea hooked too! You can check it out at: http://www.goodreads.com/friend/i?i=LTM2MDY2NjU3Nzk6MzEy%0A
* Ps. My cats and their own webpages online now at Catster.com which is like a MySpace for cats, you can check them out at: http://www.catster.com/family/522217
Upcoming, we've got our big family extravaganza trip coming up for the week of Thanksgiving. Jeff will be coming out to meet the whole family. Our trip won't even allow us time to breathe, we're going to be so busy. We're excited though!
That's it for now. I'll try to be more involved keeping up with the updates!
